Next Steps Workshop 2025

PreK to university level educators

Generator Makerspace,  40 Sears Lane, Burlington

Every aiVermont workshop expresses our commitment to hands-on professional learning that builds on participant experiences and is responsive to practitioner feedback and needs.

Each aiVermont event expresses our commitment to hands-on professional learning that builds on prior experiences and is responsive to practitioner feedback and needs. While the concepts and skills in our “Next Steps” workshops assume some level of knowledge and skills with AI technologies, instruction is differentiated to accommodate various levels of digital fluency. Our approach is to help participants increase their knowledge and skills, understand concepts and concerns to inform decision making, and leave with ready-to-use practical applications.

The following topics are currently on deck for this full day of learning and sharing:

  • AI literacy frameworks

  • AI skill building

  • Evaluating AI use and output

  • Adaptive learning

  • Addressing Vermont-centric issues

“My lead teachers need to attend this kind of workshop, with the emphasis on work versus just talking and theorizing.  I hope you can offer one at least every quarter of the year!”

–R.G., District Director of Technology
